Rate My Professor Pradeep Navsaria

Professor Pradeep Navsaria is a trauma surgeon and academic at the University of Cape Town in the Faculty of Health Sciences and at Groote Schuur Hospital. He holds the qualifications MBChB, MMed(Surgery), FCS(Surgery), Trauma Surgery (HPCSA) and FACS. Navsaria has served as a trauma surgeon at Groote Schuur Hospital since 2000 and has held positions including deputy head of the trauma centre. He is a C2-rated researcher by the National Research Foundation of South Africa.

Navsaria received the University of Cape Town Distinguished Teacher Award in 2017. His academic work focuses on trauma surgery, with contributions to research on penetrating trauma, damage control surgery and non-operative management of injuries. He has authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in the field of surgery and trauma care. Navsaria has participated in teaching and training programmes for surgical trainees and has been involved in professional surgical societies, including executive committee roles.
