Rate My Professor Rodrigo Temp Müller

Rodrigo Temp Müller serves as a paleontologist at the Centro de Apoio à Pesquisa Paleontológica da Quarta Colônia (CAPPA) of Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM). He earned a bachelor's degree in environmental management from Universidade Federal do Pampa in 2014. He completed a master's degree in 2016 and a doctorate in 2018, both through the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Biodiversidade Animal at UFSM. Since 2016, he has held the position of laboratory technician in paleontology at CAPPA/UFSM. He served as head of CAPPA/UFSM from 2022 to 2023. He supervises master's and doctoral students in the Postgraduate Program in Animal Biodiversity at UFSM. His research centers on the Triassic biota, with particular emphasis on the evolution and systematics of archosaurs. He is a research productivity fellow of the Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq). Müller is an editor for the Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society, The Science of Nature, Journal of Anatomy, and Historical Biology. He maintains an active role in paleontological research and academic supervision within the natural sciences at UFSM.
