Romina Rader is Professor (Research) in Community Ecology in the School of Environmental and Rural Science at the University of New England. Her research focuses on plant–animal interactions in natural and human-modified landscapes, with interests in the ecology of plants and animals across different habitats and their responses to management practices and global change. Current projects centre on wild and managed insect pollinators and their efficiency in pollinating horticultural crops, as well as the ecology and conservation of remnant vegetation.
Rader’s work encompasses pollination, agroecology, sustainability and ecosystem services. She has held positions including Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor at the University of New England, joining the institution in 2013. She serves as Senior Editor for the Journal of Applied Ecology and has received an ARC Future Fellowship. Rader maintains an active research profile with extensive publications in peer-reviewed journals.
