Sajeev Philip is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Atmospheric Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He joined the Centre in November 2021. He earned his Ph.D. from Dalhousie University. Prior to his appointment at IIT Delhi, he served as a visiting associate scientist at the NASA Academic Mission Services.
His research focuses on atmospheric chemistry modeling, satellite remote sensing, and CO2 flux inversion, with emphasis on Earth's climate and global surface air quality. In 2023, Professor Philip was awarded the Indian National Science Academy associate fellowship. He maintains an active research profile with numerous publications, reflected in an H-index of 24, 106 publications, and over 3,500 citations.
