Scott Duncan is a Professor of Population Health in the School of Sport, Exercise and Health at Auckland University of Technology. He holds the position of Head of Department for Physical Activity and Nutrition and serves as Director of Te Hotonga Hapori. His academic work centers on physical activity, play, child health, environmental health, and obesity, with expertise in the application of GPS and accelerometer technologies to study mobility. Duncan earned a Doctor of Philosophy and maintains an active research profile, including affiliations with the Human Potential Centre.
