Professor Serena Counsell is a Professor of Perinatal Imaging & Health in the School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences at King’s College London. She is based in the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine.
Her research interests include imaging sciences. In 2020, she was awarded a £3.3 million grant from the Medical Research Council to investigate placental function and brain development in congenital heart disease. She serves as Head of Advanced Neuroimaging at the Centre for the Developing Brain.
