Rate My Professor Sharath Ananthamurthy

Professor Sharath Ananthamurthy serves as Vice-Chancellor of Kuvempu University. He is a Professor of Physics with prior appointments at the School of Physics, University of Hyderabad, from 2017, and at Bangalore University from 2006 to 2017. He obtained his PhD in physics from the University of Iowa in 1993.

His research focuses on soft condensed matter physics, optics, ion traps, spectroscopy, light scattering, dynamic light scattering, rheology, and soft materials. He has held the position of Vice-Chancellor since March 2024.
