Dr Steve Urlich is a senior lecturer in environmental management at Lincoln University. He is an ecologist with a background in environmental science and resource management. He holds a PhD in forest ecology awarded by Lincoln University in 2000 and a Bachelor of Resource Studies. Prior to his current academic appointment, he worked for central and local government agencies.
Dr Urlich’s research interests encompass coastal and marine management and governance, biodiversity policy, environmental history, forestry, and ecology. He contributes to teaching and supervision in the Department of Environmental Management.
