Dr Stewart Ramsay is an NHMRC Grant-Funded Research Fellow at the University of Adelaide in the School of Medicine. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Adelaide in 2020 on the topic of endocannabinoid regulation of gastric vagal afferents and received the Dean's Commendation for Doctoral Thesis Excellence.
His research focuses on areas including circadian rhythms, endocannabinoids, vagal afferents, the bladder, and the gut. Dr Ramsay has contributed to preclinical studies examining natural anti-inflammatory approaches for conditions such as sepsis. He holds the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Adelaide.
