Rate My Professor Sue Wright

Sue Wright is Professor of Accounting in the UTS Business School at the University of Technology Sydney. She holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics, both from Macquarie University. Prior to her current role, she has held academic positions at the University of Newcastle and Macquarie University. Professor Wright has served as Head of the Accounting Discipline Group at UTS and is a fellow and former president and treasurer of the Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ). Her research focuses on corporate governance and financial reporting in Australia and their impact on performance and other market measures. She has been appointed joint editor-in-chief of the Australian Accounting Review and serves as an associate editor or board member for journals including Abacus, Accounting Research Journal, and Meditari.
