Rate My Professor Taylor Incze

Taylor Incze is an MD/PhD candidate at McMaster University in the Health Research Methodology program. She completed her undergraduate degree in public health at Brock University and her master’s of science in health services research at the University of Toronto’s Institute for Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. Her master’s thesis focused on teamwork skills and their relation to adverse events in the operating room. At McMaster, Incze is pursuing her doctoral research under the supervision of Dr. Laura Anderson, with a focus on health promotion and chronic disease prevention in young adults. Her work examines Motivational Interviewing, health coaching, and the use of artificial intelligence to support health behaviour change.

Incze has co-authored peer-reviewed publications, including work on assessing surgical teamwork competencies using OR Black Box technology and on the long-term impact of thyroid biopsy specialists. She is a member of the LEAP Team in Lifecourse Epidemiology and Prevention at McMaster and has received recognition such as the Sackett Graduate Scholarship.
