Rate My Professor Wenjia Cao

Wenjia Cao is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the School of Economics at Singapore Management University. She joined the faculty in 2025 after completing her Ph.D. in Economics at Michigan State University. Prior to that, she earned an M.A. in Economics from Duke University in 2019 and a Bachelor of Management in Financial Management from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2017.

Her research focuses on how technological changes, especially high tech, and public policies affect skill demands, labor market outcomes, educational choices, and inequality. Her research interests include human capital and labour economics, health economics, and public economics.
