Xiaoshu Xu is an associate professor in the School of Foreign Studies at Wenzhou University. She also serves as a PhD supervisor at Macao Polytechnic University and Stamford International University. Her research focuses on areas including personalized learning, English for Specific Purposes (ESP), e-learning, technology-enhanced learning, artificial intelligence applications in higher education, academic writing, and related topics in educational technology and Chinese higher education contexts. Xu holds the position of Editor in Chief of the Journal of Educational Technology and Innovation. She has authored or co-authored numerous publications on these subjects, with recent works appearing in journals such as Language Teaching Research, Frontiers in Psychology, Journal of English for Academic Purposes, Acta Psychologica, and others. Her contributions include studies on personal learning environments, AI adoption in universities, critical thinking in online discussions, and student well-being in academic settings.
