Yannan Wang is a PhD candidate in the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics at the University of Guelph. She previously completed an M.Sc. in the same department. Her research focuses on monitoring the impact of beavers on surface water dynamics in Arctic Canada using remote sensing and dendrochronology.
