Yasuhiro Iba is an Associate Professor in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Earth and Planetary System Science at Hokkaido University. His research centers on paleontology with interests including paleoclimatology, paleoecology, biogeography, stratigraphy, and the study of cephalopods and marine fossils.
