Rate My Professor Yasushi Nakamori

Yasushi Nakamori is a Clinical Professor and Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine as well as Head of the Comprehensive Intensive Care Unit at Kansai Medical University. He graduated from Osaka University Faculty of Medicine in 1995 and holds a Doctor of Medicine degree along with certification as a specialist and supervisor from the Japanese Society of Emergency Medicine. His subspecialties include abdominal surgery and interventional radiology. Nakamori has held positions at multiple institutions, including Osaka University Hospital Special Emergency Department, Osaka Police Hospital, Osaka University Advanced Emergency and Critical Care Center, Osaka Prefectural Acute and General Medical Center Advanced Emergency and Critical Care Center, and Kansai Medical University Hirakata Hospital Advanced Emergency and Critical Care Center before his current roles. He is also a member of the Japan DMAT team. His career has focused on emergency and critical care medicine, contributing to the development of facilities such as expanded ICU beds and hybrid emergency rooms at the university.
