About Yulin

Yulin Gan is an Associate Research Fellow at the National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory in the School of Nuclear Science and Technology at the University of Science and Technology of China. He earned his PhD as a student in the Department of Energy Conversion and Storage from 2016 to 2019. His research centers on condensed matter physics topics including oxide heterostructures, two-dimensional electron gases at interfaces such as γ-Al2O3/SrTiO3, Rashba spin-orbit coupling, tunable ground states in diluted oxide interfaces, emergence of magnetic ordering, and superconductivity in infinite-layer nickelate superlattices and related systems.

Gan has authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, with key works including "Diluted oxide interfaces with tunable ground states" (2019), "Light-Induced Giant Rashba Spin–Orbit Coupling at Superconducting KTaO3(110) Heterointerfaces" (2023), "Giant Tunability of the Two-Dimensional Electron Gas at the Interface of γ-Al2O3/SrTiO3" (2017), and "Superconductivity in an infinite-layer nickelate superlattice" (2024). His contributions appear in journals such as Advanced Materials, Nature Communications, Nano Letters, and Physical Review B. He maintains a verified professional email at ustc.edu.cn and is affiliated with the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in addition to USTC.
