Rate My Professor Yuxia Liu

Yuxia Liu is a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in the Department of Chemistry. She is affiliated with the research group led by Xiaogang Liu and has contributed to studies involving upconversion nanomaterials, photophysics-guided nanosystems, and applications in neuromodulation and ion channel manipulation. Her work includes co-authorship on publications such as a 2025 paper in Nature Biomedical Engineering on solvent-mediated analgesia and a 2024 paper on single-point mutated lanmodulin for MRI contrast enhancement. Liu has also been involved in research on stimuli-responsive materials and noninvasive manipulation of ion channels.
