Assistant Director of Training
Position Summary
The Assistant Director of Training is an essential member of the CAPS /Fontaine Center leadership team. Reporting to the Sr. Associate Director of Clinical Services and Training, this leadership position’s primary focus will be on the continued development and implementation of a strategic vision for, and oversight of, all the aspects of the various training programs offered at CAPS, including our American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral internship program, and our Advanced Doctoral practicum and Social Work practicum programs.
In addition, this position will provide direct services to students and provide oversight of all supervision of our trainees in their various levels of training.
Duties/Responsibilities
Leadership, Program Development and Management (45%)
- Develop, implement, and oversee all aspects of training programs including APA accredited doctoral internship, Advanced Doctoral practicum and Social Work practicum programs.
- Provide managerial support for the CAPS/Fontaine Center Leadership team.
Direct Client Service (40%)
- Provide age-appropriate direct client care including clinical evaluation and counseling/psychotherapy.
- Participate in rotational on-call duty.
Administrative Tasks and Meetings (15%)
- Serve as active member of CAPS & UHC teams.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission Standards.
