Associate Director of Organizational Development and Employment Equity
Position Summary
The Associate Director of Organizational Development and Employment Equity will manage projects and initiatives to nurture a culture of inclusion and belonging across the employee experience. This individual will serve on a cross-functional leadership team focused on community engagement, manage employee resource groups, provide training and programming to promote equity and belonging and analyze existing infrastructure to enhance equity.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the Engaged Pluralism Leadership Team, a cross functional team focused on building communities that emphasize belonging.
- Manage the design, logistics, and delivery of virtual, in-person, and asynchronous training via a Learning Management System (LMS) to promote a culture of ongoing learning and procedural transparency.
- Facilitate and assess new employee onboarding and orientation programming to ensure a welcoming and effective experience.
- Manage Employee Resource Groups to facilitate and support a robust and inclusive employment community.
- Coordinate the development of the Human Resources newsletter and other employee communications.
- Collaborate with campus partners to design, develop, and deliver a wide variety of training content that aligns with adult learning best practices and institutional design guidelines.
- Plan and participate in touchstone events and experiences for employees.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities
- Bachelor's degree and three years of experience working in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination.
- Experience designing and delivering training, onboarding, or other programming.
- Experience evaluating policies and processes from an equity and belonging lens.
- Comfort with using technological tools to create data for analysis and interpretation.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively across a diverse campus community.
Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities
- Experience working in a higher education institution.
- Experience with designing human resources processes.
- Experience making on-demand training content.
- Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Experience working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System to communicate with target audiences
- Experience working with software to create e-learning content such as Articulate.
Compensation
The compensation for this position is $78,850 - $90,000 (USD) per year.
