Job Description

The CU Succeed program seeks currently employed High School teachers as part-time Lecturers. This program enables high school juniors and seniors to take CU Denver courses in their high schools for dual credit during the school day.

All applicants into this position are seeking approval as CU Denver Adjunct Faculty members to teach CU Denver courses in the high school where they are already employed.

This adjunct lecturer role is a non‑compensated appointment within the CU Succeed program. Individuals approved for this position serve on a voluntary basis and do not receive salary, stipend, or benefits from the University of Colorado Denver.

What you will do:

• Instructors will teach courses in Colorado High Schools. These instructors are approved by academic departments to offer course content for designated courses.

Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications)

• Masters Degree or 18 credit hours at the graduate level in the discipline you are seeking approval.
• Currently employed in a Colorado High School.

Conditions of Employment

• This position requires an onsite presence, on the teacher's home high school campus, at the discretion of the home school's schedule.
• This adjunct lecturer appointment is a voluntary, non‑compensated role and does not constitute a paid employment relationship with the University of Colorado Denver.
