- Salary Level HEW 6 ( + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
- Based on the Melbourne CBD campus, however, may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University.
About You
At the College of Vocational Education (VE), we are dedicated to supporting our Senior Leaders in driving strategic initiatives. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to join our team.
In this role, you will provide essential administrative support, including diary management, email oversight, document administration, and coordination of meetings and teleconferences. Your attention to detail will be critical in servicing committees, taking minutes, and organizing events.
As the first point of contact for communication with our Senior Leaders, excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach are vital. We value collaboration and teamwork, and you will help foster a supportive and proactive environment.
We are looking for someone who is tech-savvy, particularly with Outlook and Office 365, and can adapt quickly to new tools. A flexible working style and strong multitasking abilities will enable you to thrive in our fast-paced setting.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have / you’ll have as a minimum:
- Demonstrated experience in a senior administrative/operations/project support role with the ability to work proactively and autonomously.
- Highly developed organisational and planning skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Demonstrated capacity to work independently, show initiative and exercise discretionary judgment.
- A knowledge and understanding of the tertiary education sector.
- Proven ability to liaise constructively and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders on complex, sensitive and confidential issues.
- Ability to draft correspondence of a very high standard to internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated high level of computer literacy including word processing; presentation software (e.g.PowerPoint); email, internet and electronic document management databases and ability to manage electronic and paper-based filing systems including TRIM
