Duties/Responsibilities:

• Washing dishes and kitchen ware manually or with machines, and making sure dishes are cleaned, dried, and stored properly. (60%)
• Taking out trash from various stations within kitchen. (20%)
• Clean up of each station. (15%)
• Occasional work to help plate up and move plated banquets to event area. (5%)

Position Summary: Duties of this position include: Washing dishes and kitchen wares manually or with machines, making sure dishes are cleaned, dried, and stored properly. Taking out trash from various stations within the kitchen. Perform all duties using the proper sanitation practices. To keep area clean and ready for certified inspection at any time. To work in any other food service area as needed. To help prep for large groups.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position: Completion of the eighth school grade, supplemented by completion of a vocational training course in food preparation and service; considerable experience in large-scale institutional or commercial cooking; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
