The Department of Accounting and Finance in the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks applicants for a 9-month instructor position in Finance for the academic year 2026-27. The Austin E. Cofrin School of Business values university-level teaching experience, CFA designations, knowledge of and experience using finance and capital market software (e.g. Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, or FactSet) the ability to teach a variety of classes in the Finance curriculum, engagement in institutional, community, and professional service, and experience working in the world of business.

Applicants will be expected to engage fully with the Willie D. Davis Finance and Investment Laboratory.
This position will be responsible for enhancing UW-Green Bay’s mission-driven inclusive teaching efforts and creating and maintaining an educational environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates those with diverse identities, beliefs, and cultural backgrounds.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Teach a variety of undergraduate and/or graduate courses in financial planning and finance.
- Mentor students in the “transcripts to resumes” program.
- Perform scholarly activities consistent with rank.
- Perform institutional and community service,
- Contribute to ongoing program development within the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business
- Participate fully in the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business’ AACSB accreditation efforts.

Compensation: Competitive compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience.
This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate/ABD status from an institution supporting an AACSB accredited business school, or Master’s Degree in Finance or Business with a specialization in Finance plus 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching
- Evidence of engagement in institutional, community, and professional endeavors.
