The Opportunity
The Maintenance Contracts Coordinator supports the delivery of maintenance and contract management across the University’s built environment. The role will contribute to procurement, contract administration and performance management activities, ensuring service delivery aligns with regulatory, policy and operational requirements.
The Maintenance Contracts Coordinator will work across a diverse portfolio of building services contracts, coordinating service providers, supporting commercial negotiations and contributing to the development of contract management frameworks. The role also provides specialist input into procurement planning, scope development and risk mitigation across maintenance programs.
Working within the Office of Property and Commercial, The Maintenance Contracts Coordinator will engage with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure effective service delivery, drive continuous improvement and support compliance with University policies and the Australian regulatory environment.

About You
The successful candidate will bring demonstrated experience in facilities and contract management within a building services environment, supported by strong commercial acumen.
- Experience supporting facilities and building services environments, including knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Demonstrated capability in project planning, contract administration, and multi‑disciplinary maintenance coordination.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, building codes, and NSW government procurement processes.
- Ability to build long term stakeholder relationships and manage competing priorities in a changing environment.
- Proven experience establishing commercial frameworks that reduce risk and improve service performance.
