About This Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an inquisitive and collaborative Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Social Psychology to contribute to a funded, multi-year research program examining how intergroup contact influences attitudes and reduces prejudice.
Working within a dynamic and high-performing research team, you will play a central role in designing and delivering innovative studies that explore how political, ideological, and racial identities shape interactions and behaviour over time. You will contribute to impactful, real-world research using longitudinal, experimental, and AI-mediated approaches in a supportive environment committed to creating change together.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Research: Conduct complex studies as part of a multi-year research program; undertake advanced statistical analyses including multi-level and longitudinal modelling; publish high-quality research outputs in leading journals; collaborate on research projects and contribute to competitive funding applications; apply best-practice and innovative methodologies.
- Supervision and Researcher Development: Contribute to the supervision of Honours and Higher Degree by Research students; provide guidance, mentoring and feedback to support researcher development; contribute to a positive and inclusive research culture.
- Citizenship and Service: Contribute to a collaborative team environment through active participation in School and University initiatives; support administrative and service activities; build relationships with partners across academia, industry, and the community.
