Program Director, Dietetics Graduate Program
Primary Purpose of Position
Serve as Program Director for the Future Education Model Dietetics Graduate Program in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. This position provides oversight for coursework and duties associated with the regular academic and educational experiences related to the Dietetics Graduate Program coursework and related field placement. The Director provides leadership in recruiting, enrolling and retaining students in the program and ensures the program is in compliance with accreditation requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Doctorate degree or in progress in nutrition, dietetics or related field from a U.S. regionally accredited college or university
- Higher education teaching and advising experience
- Registered Dietitian
- Knowledge of ACEND standards of education and broad knowledge of clinical and administrative dietetics
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
Minimum three years of teaching and advising in higher education; program coordination and administrative experience; industry experience, ACEND accreditation experience; strong technology skills, strong oral and written communication skills; and proficient with statistical and financial concepts.
