Position Details

Position Title: Music Department Post-Bacc Intern

Position Purpose: The post-bacc intern will offer teaching and tech support for Music Department events, labs and courses.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College with major or minor in Music.
• Knowledge of the Music Department studios and program.
• Ability to be flexible and learn new skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent computer skills in both Macintosh and Windows.
• Ability to work well with a diverse staff, faculty and student body.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with music software and hardware (Ableton Live, Protools, Reaper, Max, Mixing Desks)
• Live Music Event Experience
• Recording Studio Experience
• Tutoring/teaching experience

Key Accountabilities

30% - Act as Teaching Assistant for MUS classes

50% - Monitor MUS studios during student studio hours

20% - Assist in live music department events
